Semi-Permanent Eyebrow After-care

Only care for healing brows with CLEAN hands to avoid infection. Lymph will arise on the brow within the first 24 hours, be sure to gently wash away the lymph during the first 24 hours with cool water and a damp cotton pad.

Keep the area of pigmentation moist four times a day with A & D ointment for a minimum of 3 days.

If a crust appears on the pigmented surface, DO NOT FORCE THE REMOVAL BY PICKING, SCRATCHING OR WASHING!! PIGMENT MAY BE REMOVED ALONG WITH THE CRUST.

 

***** Note: May experience very slight swelling as well as a little redness in the immediate area.

Avoid for 1 week:


Chlorine Pools
Retin-A on pigmented areas
Makeup on pigmented area for 5 days, including non-allergenic
Hot, steamy, long showers
Sun on pigmented areas
Jacuzzi or saunas
Terry towels on pigmented areas 

Washing pigmented area

Soaps, facial cleansers, and water on pigmented areas

 

Shower with your back to the water to keep water, shampoo and conditioner from getting in the pigmented areas. Have enough Shea butter or shea oil in the pigments areas during showers.

If you experience any abnormal discomfort or signs of infection, contact your physician immediately.

Do not be alarmed by fading after the first application.  The final color cannot be judged until at least 3 weeks after the

touch up applications are completed. This is the reason follow-ups are required.
